Deciding is not an event, it is a habit. When the team lacks a system, decisions drag on or get made without context. These short rituals help me move faster without losing clarity.

1. One-page brief

One page, nothing more. Problem, impact, hypothesis, and what we know today. If it does not fit, the problem is not clear.

2. Weekly source of truth

Thirty minutes to review metrics, blockers, and pending decisions. No decks, just data and context.

3. Decision log

A living doc with date, decision, and why. It prevents circular debates and helps onboard new people.

4. Visible success criteria

Before launching, we define two or three success signals. If there are no signals, there is no launch.

Simple works when used with discipline. These rituals are the minimum viable system for a team to know why it does what it does.
